Bergan & Company obtains consent to send text (SMS) messages to residents and property owners through a Text Message Communications clause included in the documents they sign with us. Residential lease and move-in documents
Included in Bergan & Company residential leases and move-in paperwork, which residents review and sign electronically through the resident portal.
Text Message Communications. Tenant provides the mobile number(s) listed in this Lease and agrees that Landlord/Agent (Bergan & Company) may send text (SMS) messages to those numbers regarding this tenancy, including maintenance requests and updates, scheduling, account notices, and replies to Tenant's inquiries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Tenant may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message and may reply HELP for assistance; opting out does not affect any other notice provisions of this Lease. Property management agreement
Included in the property management agreement signed by each owner whose property Bergan & Company manages.
Text Message Communications. Owner provides the mobile number(s) listed in this Agreement and agrees that Bergan & Company may send text (SMS) messages to those numbers regarding the managed property, including maintenance approval requests and reminders, work status updates, account notices, and replies to Owner's inquiries. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Owner may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message and may reply HELP for assistance. Your rights
- Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts. You will receive one confirmation message and nothing further. Reply START to resubscribe.

- Opting out of text messages does not affect your lease, management agreement, or any other communications from us by email, phone, or mail.
